It's a great way to train from puppyhood. Start with the alpha roll: simply roll the puppy onto her back and make eye contact, only release when she stops resisting and begins to relax. Reward her with lots of praise and love.My pups Cygnus and Caseyanne. Trained 'Dominance down' This sounds alot worse than it was. It became a game. Just pup lay down and you put hands on them and say 'down down'. Oh, you will get struggle at first. Then they relax. Increase the time, each time.
Till ok! Jump up! claps and kisses and treats.
Sounds mean but wasn't.
See I did not post this. so will continue.
Worked out so well for injuries and general health, ear cleanings..
One poor pup got a marrow bone stuck~ around her jaw. How'd she do that? dunno. She laid perfectly still. Tail thumping happy while it was sawed off.
Sawed off. Then happy she had two pieces
However, he was not nothing but a hound dog.
...floor should be littered with beer cans and dog chow man!....
He's getting so big. Magnificent Brody!
Congrats to Brody! Did he have to pass the hotdog test?

The true test is: does he do them for you!No hot dog test. He had to do all the commands and such that he was taught for the trainer.
