always find it amusing when i try and quote sai king lines and they get the ****** filter treatment . WTH?

if it doesn't offend in his novels - and readers come here to applaud- why should they be offended here? yeh i know, younger viewers and all, but surely it's a pointless task.

Yup - that sort of caught me up at first - much stricter rules on here than what is allowed in the books - but:

since he is the guy who writes the books, he has the right to decide what to put in them, right?

I do not mind the moderation any more - you just have to "learn to play the game" [an old quote - they taught us this in basic training in 1980 - I guess I forgot how to play nice at first]

Personally I think it's because you have to be a bit strict otherwise things can go south quickly if you don't keep a firm hand on rules of manners and behaviour from the beginning.

Thank you, yes. We obviously are very aware Stephen uses blue words and adult situations in his writing. But like doowop says, it's just keeping a level of manners and behavior between real live people here.
