I don't know if this exists already or if this is even feasible but I know in the previous message board we would sometimes have the opportunity to ask the constant writer questions. I would suggest a thread dedicated to this that Mr King could answer at his leisure. Because I know I have a few.

I Didn't mean to imply that there was a thread dedicated to it in the past but I know I had asked question in the past and Ms. Mod had answered them. Like I had asked what Mr King thought of Dean Koontz's work. But I was curious as to what Mr King thinks about the potential for a two movie remake of It that would be much truer to the book, let alone what he thought of the made for TV movie/mini series that was done.

I'm sure Ms. Mod will be happy to continue to answer those kinds of questions regarding Stephen and a thread like this would be a great place for her to do that. :)

I've often wondered how his attitude toward what he has written has changed over time. Say like w/Blaze being found in a drawer...or something...seems like I read how at one point he didn't think much of the story, but when it was found again, he changed his mind...brushed it off so forth so on. And we've all heard/read about the story of Carrie. And I imagine many most all...or maybe none...he might could wish he could change a few things. The work I do/have done is visible...carpentry...say I'm driving by or I get called back to do more work and I notice things...musta been having a bad day when I did that I think. Course, there's always those sidewalk superintendents to pause and to point to things. Saves time for other stuff.

I've had my girls read BLAZE in conjunction with OF MICE AND MEN, since the connection is clear. It's really interesting to see them light up when making comparisons, then to see them take off into other books by both authors, still exploring points of comparison. I, for one, am glad he pulled BLAZE out of the trunk and sent it out into the world. The girls have now devoured most of Mr. King's books, and ventured into Steinbeck's shorter books. When they've finished EAST OF EDEN, my job is done :D
