Well...
Had my two Walmart bags packed and in the truck...
The GoFundMe had just reached $6.87...
And the Heels couldn't hit water standing on the beach yesterday.
Dang I had already polished the truck and double bolted the doublewide too...
I was so disappointed. It was like they didn't even want to win.......Well...

It's time to go get washed, dressed and on the road. Today is the day I take Andy's truck in for an estimate to see how much it will cost to repair the damage on the back bumper. 
I sent him a text with a picture of the damage, which is really not all that bad.
It's over on Henderson Highway near a McDonald's so guess I could pop in for one of their hot drinks (already had my hot oatmeal at home so I won't be tempted to eat pancakes and bacon or anything decadent like that!)

We’re Penn State fans. Unfortunately none of my daughter’s wanted to go to Penn State. They always asked me why I wanted them to go to there, and my standard reply was 'football tickets.' But Penn State has terrible college requirement personnel. Their attitude is you should be on your hands and knees hoping Penn State merely considers you. Idiots! My kids wanted to go to colleges that really sought after them to attend. My youngest wants to go to Michigan... We’re considering disowning her. Having a perfect record in the Big Ten is next to impossible with Penn State, Ohio, Michigan, Michigan State and a few others in the mix.
I have both the Big Ten Network and the SEC Network. Rarely watch the SEC, except for Women's softball.
Didn't the Big Ten recently ink the highest TV contract, ever?

As far as colleges go, you are correct in that many act like you are doing them a favor by applying. None of our 3 even considered going to UNC-CH, where both of their parents attended.
Place is not really prospective student friendly anymore.
Completely different than in early 1980s.
Heck they even let me in...

What is that 'Beachcomber' electronic newsletter thing that I saw I think either on here or somewhere and it had King and an article about his dog and a guy with an AC/DC shirt. Is that a real newsletter or just something made up for fun?

My father said he went to see a Red Sox game in 1952 and he didn't understand the game and thought it was boring but his relative who migrated to America in 1949 was saying how interesting it was. He said he liked the hotdogs at the game. My father said that cricket is a superior game than baseball, even though test cricket can go for five days. If I'd been born in America I'd be a fanatical baseball fan, I know it. I can't stand basketball. I wonder how many references in King's books are there to sports( not including Blockade Billy), I'm going to look that up.
