I am sporting sandals today and it feels good. Finally, the weather is warm enough to get the sandals out.
Our weatherman posted a pedicure alert on his instagram account because this week is 80F plus all week!
Hubby just called to tell me we have an Indigo Bunting at our bird feeders!

Glad to hear your weather is cooperating - we had a terrible wind storm yesterday with lots of blowing dust (thought I was in Kansas).
I've never seen one of those around here. We have bluebirds (not to be confused with bluejays) that take up residence in our birdhouse every spring.Hubby just called to tell me we have an Indigo Bunting at our bird feeders!
He hadn't either! I texted my mom, the bird watcher and googled it. Both mom and Google agreed that's what it was. Apparently this is a common breeding time for them, but normally by this time of year, we've taken our feeders down. I'm trying to convince hubby, maybe we need them up all year long!

Salmon salad on thinly sliced toasted homemade bread
Decided to save the hard boiled eggs for later - might make something else with them.
Maybe use them as a garnish on a salad
LOL...yes, bluejays are obnoxious and after they've bullied the other birds I think it's funny when the crows swoop down on them. They are beautiful birds but not the most pleasant-sounding.P.S. We have blue birds, too! And I try to run off any bluejays that I see!

I just listened to it. I think this was his tribute to the Florabama which is a bar in Gulf Shores that Buffet used to frequent.
They sure are. I had my parrot outside with me one day. She was just sitting the bushes having a nice time - and they were swooping and yelling. Other birds too.
You know it is officially spring as the dandelions are in full bloom. SIGH!!
