Which is why I'm gobsmacked that anyone would be squealing about going into the water but maybe I'm misunderstanding what they're squealing about.

Just another example of the wussification of the human race?

They're squealing when the water is 80 degrees????!!!!! They better never come this far north and attempt to swim in the ocean. When we were kids, our parents knew it was time to tell us to get out of the water and warm up for a while when they could see our lips turning purple. I just checked a couple of the beach spots here and the ocean temp is hovering around 64-67 degrees.

Closest beach my way- gulf water 87F and that is after rains this morning.

Apparently, it's some kind of law to squeal if you're an adult holding a child's hand in the water. Everyone else acted normal.

I am not one to judge. I have my own stuff to judge However, I have a hard time looking at those with the gauging of people's ears. No offense to those who do gauge their ears.

That was one of the topics brought up at the Meet and Greet. Bev said that it's still the plan to continue them but Rich has been side-tracked with other projects so they have been on the back burner.

Every now and then I give him a nudge. We definitely plan to carry on. I have six essays on the dashboard waiting to go when Rich finds time to return to the project.

It would be a very thin book as I didn't bother keeping any notes or journals over the years and have forgotten more than I can remember of the last nearly 30 years.

soory update it turns out it was her moms wedding ring and her parents are divorced. so i guess so, but still it seems 20 somethings are not sentimental i suppose. i think for gifts i might just giver her gift cards in the case she sells what i get her

so over on skl on Facebook we are looking up at the wealth of current writers. for 2017 and king is at 400 million dollars and he is behind jk Rowling and James Patterson.
