I just looked her up - not sure if she is an author or a model!

I guess that is what is known as 'Chick-Lit'

I did read a number of the Shopaholic books many years ago - those were fun! (By another author - Sophie Kinsella)
Sophie is a much better writer and a nicer person.

Wikipedia article of the day #6: Datura, a genus classification consisting of 9 different species of plants that have various, and usually disturbing, hallucinogenic effects when their seeds are ground up and drunken as a tea. Not only are they trippy, they are considerably poisonous and using them for their hallucinogenic effects can result in long term brain damage. They are nicknamed “The Devil’s Trumpets” due to their shape.

Has anyone hear ever experienced sleep paralysis? I think I might’ve experienced something like it last night but I’m not sure what constitutes sleep paralysis from a regular nightmare. I’m absolutely sure it was just an auditory hallucination regardless, but it sounded like a could hear a woman very quietly hysterically giggling just outside my door, I was freaked out at first but pretty much forgot about it, it only lasted two minutes and it felt like I couldn’t get out of bed, which is common in most cases of sleep paralysis.

Not that I'm aware of. More likely that the number has personal importance to him, e.g. his first professional short story sale happened when he was 19 years old.
I’m aware of why he might’ve chose 19 significantly, but the concepts seem awfully similar, especially for a series that turns iconic pop culture figures and icons into locations, items, and characters (ie King Crimson, golden snitches, lightsabers, etc.)

Except that Stephen was 19 in 1966 and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy wasn't published until 1979. There are other events in his life that occur with the number 19 being significant so it's much more likely any connection to it are coincidental.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but I watch for Robins because when I see them, I know spring is close.

Just like the Robin is a portent that good weather is a flower away, I listen for this song on my radio to let me know summer is coming. I have yet to hear it, but I'm listening.....

Is that the cheesiest damn video evah!!!?

You asked. If a stranger winks at me I immediately think 'serial killer.' :)
I don't just randomly wink at people. It's more when I'm joking with them and someone is standing by and I sort of wink at the other person "implying we share a secret" as doyou suggested, or we're both in on the tease.
