Beware, there is currently a major phishing campaign that is partially evading many virus detection and prevention solutions.
- Emails with subjects containing vague business-related terms such as "Invoice" or "Report," and contain an Adobe PDF attachment.
- If the PDF is opened, a message informing the user to update software such as Adobe, Flash Player, or some other plug-in appears.
- The update request may include a prompt to open, download or save a file. However, there is no actual download. The intent is just to get the user to click in order for the malware to install.
