LOL. I got the wife this craft for Christmas. It's so intricate and involved with cutting, bending metal, shaping string, etc, etc. She’s probably put over 50 hours into it already and has lots more to do. Do this and you’ll never want to do another craft... EVER!

That's the idea - keep her busy and she won't think up yard work projects for you to work on :encouragement:

I've never seen one of those - it looks complicated

The honey-do list in on the fridge right next to island where she works on the craft. I think she adds things to the honey-do list as a distraction from the craft. And it is extremely complicated. Basically an extreme 3-D self-created puzzle to the power of hell.

We used to let the girls team play ... was fun beating the crap out of them...:biggrin-new:
We were taught never ever to hit a girl. There was one evil girl who took advantage of us guys that would never strike back and she enjoyed smacking guys around. We were terrified of her. Then one day I was holding something (I don’t remember what) that she grabbed and was trying to tear is out of my hands. After a little I let it go and said ‘fine.’ She fell backwards, off a little wall, and broke her arm. She didn’t mess with me again after that.

Yeah I imagine that was rather easy. Watching them skip as they go get the ball must have been enjoyable, too. :)
I grew up in Jersey the girls were a little tougher than that, no skipping on the diamond. We made it fair...pitched underhand and batted from the opposite side of the plate you were used etc. They wanted to play so we figured that was a bonus....and a little smooching behind the dugout beat shaking hands at the end of the game...

Ah, the good old days. Memories that bring a tear to my eye.

Very cool, thanks!
Watch out, she'll eventually hate you for it. Sunday I was out in the backyard for about an hour and when I came in she said look what I built from the craft while you were out. Two watering cans... TWO FREAKIN' WATERING CANS IN AN HOUR! I rolled my eyes. The back of my head still hurts. :)

You even have to build the books. And some of them even open with pages in them. I would go nuts if I had to do that craft.

She likes puzzles and crafts so hopefully it won't end up bounced off my skull!

That was me that bought the magic jack. It works great. I don't get many calls on my old land line number anymore so I basically just have it because I don;t want to give up my old number and I like to give that number instead of my cell number to companies that are likely to sell my phone number.

You can download an app for your cell phone and listen to your messages for the magic jack number and even answer calls from that number on your cell. $50.00 a year instead of $35.00 a month is a nice savings. I wish I would have switched years ago.
I hesitated to get one until you mentioned that you had done it. I want it for the same reasons you said. Ordered it yesterday.
Can't wait to tell Spectrum to kiss off.
