Flake, Oz and Ella are magnificent dogs. You can feel their peace and happiness in the photos. Thank you for giving them your love.
Frank- hold the memories- they never leave our hearts.
Thankee, Spidey. I know this will sound strange, since I lost Joe my attitude toward death has been different. I realize that I have a reason to actually look forward to death. See, sounds strange.

Those who say they've never tasted soap haven't bathed a dog!! :haha:
I'm getting fairly good at knowing when to take a couple of steps back... but then of course up comes that 'partial shake', kind of like a feint, and then they got me seconds later once I'd relaxed.

I'm convinced I heard diggles (dog giggles) shortly after. :glare:

Any SKMB member the winner??????????

The winning tickets were sold at Jenny's Gift Shop in a San Jose strip mall and a Gateway Newstand in the lobby of an office building near Atlanta's Buckhead area, lottery officials said.
San Jose? Do you know the way to San Jose? It was not me cuz I am up in the wilds of Mani-snow-ba at the moment!

Can't believe it took me this long to find this out, but just learned this week that the little arrow beside the fuel pump icon on the dashboard is to indicate which side of your car the gas tank fill cap is on. I thought it was telling me that's what that gauge was for even though I know F and E are for the gas levels. :facepalm_smiley: Going to save me a lot of anxiety the next time I rent a car and realize I forgot to check that from the outside before pulling into the gas station.

usually driving an ancient- 15 year old Toyota, needing a rental recently the dashboard/interior reminded of of some space-age cockpit. Blew the mind.

Lyrics to Nothing More by the Alternate Routes

To be humble, to be kind.
It is the giving of the peace in your mind.
To a stranger, To a friend
To give in such a way that has no end.

We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

To be bold, to be brave.
It is the thinking that the heart can still be saved
And the darkness can come quick
The Dangers in the Anger and the hanging on to it.

We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

Tell me what it is that you see
A world that’s filled with endless possibilities?
Heroes don’t look they used to, they look like you do.

We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

OK, totally random, with this new job I am hoping to have more time. I was thinking maybe I should start a SK book club at the library. That would be pretty cool. I always wanted to join a book club. They don't pick interesting books in my opinion from what I've seen around here. That's the point of a book club though, do something different. Of course, scary thought if trolls would opt to come. hee-hee

I had a 1984 Toyota Celica that I bought new in 1984. I had that car for close to 15 years and it ran great right up until the end. The only reason I finally got rid of it was because it was rusting away. I kept fixing the rust and repainting it but it finally got to be a bigger pain than it was worth. But the car had over 200,000 miles on it and the engine was still in good shape. It was probably the most mechanically sound and dependable vehicle I've ever owned.
