Today is National Regifting day.... The news lady stated because today is a day for a lot Christmas parties. The employees get gifts that they do not want or need. So, it became a national day.

Yep yep! Why be wasteful?Regifting gets a bum "wrap"
Seriously, though, I wouldn't mind getting a previously-given gift if the giver thought it was something I'd appreciate.
(My mother doesn't like scented candles, but I love them so she gives me any she gets).
I have regifted kids' presents a time or two in the past when my children received duplicates of toys they already had. Or when they received toys that were inappropriate: realistic-looking toy guns (we are gun owners, but I don't like the message of firearms as toys), skanky-looking "fashion" dolls, etc.
haohaohaoha! Good for her! I love tattoos. I watch all the shows. But, I have that crepey old lady skin so I wouldn't get one. But I can appreciate the art of them for sure.Lol, Dana Jean!
My mother was always against girls/women getting inked.
I was 19 when I got my first tattoo, but I still lived at home and hid it from my mom for a couple years.
A few years ago my mother got a tattoo on her wrist with my kids' names on it. Times they are a changin'!
I went to a hamburger joint in town yesterday, a little local thing, to grab dinner. While waiting for my food, I was looking at these vending machines with toys and such in them. One of them had temporary tattoos. They were sugar skulls.
Yes, I dropped 50 cents into the machine, got my sugar skull tattoo and went home and put it on my bicep. Why? Don't ask me, I don't have a clue. Maybe the Christmas season had me feeling like a kid, but, it was silly and I did it.
My 23 son walked in my room last night. I'm laying in bed watching TV and he said, "Oh my God, tell me that's temporary!" I laughed and said, no, I got a tattoo. You would have thought I skinned the cat, stuck a carrot in its nose and lit it on fire!
I assured him it was temporary. WTH is wrong with kids
Edit
Christmas was my dad's time too. I don't know any grown adult male that could get so silly at Christmas. He loved this damn holiday. All my life, he made it special. He was a bigger kid than any of us kids! Silly, funny, smart man. I miss him terribly. And mom too.Really missing my dad today. He loved Christmas as much as my mom loathed it, and made it magical for us for as long as he could. He would be up hours before everyone else, taking pictures of all of us as we slept We called it creepy (lol), but now I realize why he did it: kids grow up so fast, and it's easy to lose track.
Merry Christmas, Dad.
