I never watched this show much but a friend of mine swears they based Ron Swanson on me.

Really? He was the perfect foil to Leslie Knope (bright-eyed Pollyanna) and I liked watching the evolution of their relationship. She was just so darn likeable with her irrepressible optimism.
Loved him. Deep down, he adored Leslie. And Leslie loved him for who he was. I just adored their little relationship.
I liked him but Pam's boyfriend was funnier, to me. Those classic looks into the camera, no words. Hilarious.
Oh hell yeah....followed closely by Jim, at least on my list. But Dwight is in a special class of weird all to himself...lol
LMAO. Oh man, I love this show. Did you ever see him in 13 Hours:The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi? He really knocked it out of the park in that one. I had only seen him in The Office up until I watched that movie, but he's a very good actor all the way around. He played the soldier role very well imho, very convincing. But he'll always be "Jim"...lol
He did have the perfect look when it came to those expressions.
Haven't found the Benghazi movie yet on Netflix. I do want to see that one. Sigmund recommended a good flick, too, but I don't have Hulu. Finding them is the problem. I don't watch that much television but I get in moods where I will binge watch a show or something. Winter is a great time for this because there isn't a lot to do.
It's definitely worth a look. I read the book first but was overall impressed at the way the movie followed it. That's a rarity for the most part. The book and movie both made me sad, but those few guys really did bring the pain for as long as they could against the guys trying to overrun their position.
Great Canadian movie. Paul Gross wrote, produced and starred in it, won several awards....check out a flick from 2015 called Hyena Road......good watchin'.....
Another movie he wrote and produced is 'Passchendaele',a WWI movie. It is excellent. Based on his grandfather's memories
of the war. It won several awards too. Filmed in Alberta, Canada and Belgium.
Wrote and produced a comedy called 'Men with Brooms' that is great too.
Just in case you are looking for a few movies to watch I highly recommend these.
