It was a Stephen King review that I saw on the cover of one of the John Sanford Prey series of books that motivated me to buy it, and I was so glad I did, I've read everything by Sanford since..I read the book review Stephen King wrote on the new Paul Theroux book. You don't normally see King do book reviews, I wonder why he did that one?
But this wasn't a cover blurb: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/09/books/review/stephen-king-on-mother-land-paul-theroux.html?_r=0It was a Stephen King review that I saw on the cover of one of the John Sanford Prey series of books that motivated me to buy it, and I was so glad I did, I've read everything by Sanford since..
You mean you almost "went postal"??!!Everyone complains about the post office being slow. I was there yesterday and it's not the people that work there that are the problem, it's the customers. It seems like every time I go there I'm standing in line with a bunch of people who have never mailed anything in their life. How can that be? There was one lady in front of me that was sending a package but didn't have it boxed up. She took everything to the counter like she expected the postal worker to box it up for her. No one seems to have the addresses right on what they are sending or their packages aren't taped correctly, etc. There was one guy in line with string around a box. What is this 1940? Hasn't he heard of tape? I felt like yelling, "What's wrong with you people?"
....here's a little tip that will speed things up....just drop your pants and as everyone scatters-you can get your "package" taken care of before the authorities arrive....Everyone complains about the post office being slow.
