Last week I was watching a documentary on the Battle of the Monitor and Merrimack in the Civil War. Never much about the fact before that it was the day all the world’s navies abruptly became obsolete.

I'll confess, I actually like it when Molly Ringwald freaks out or is on the verge of freaking out. She can look legitimately scary in these moments. That's the reason I call her the Klaus Kinski to my Werner Herzog, and if I make a movie with her, you can expect plenty of scenes like these.

I had Maury you-ARE-the-father show on in the background because I left the remote on the shelf and I was too lazy to get up and get it. When I heard some woman say she tried to use protection, using a finger she snipped off a rubber glove, but she got pregnant anyway...I got up, got the remote and put on Pandora. Have mercy.
