This has gone beyond KAincidence. Approach of known possible workers, a desired location, stored equipment. You have been planning subconsciously to fulfill a dream of your own salon. Take time, figure out the pros and cons. Maybe even consult a financial adviser. It sound like a dream come true. Believe in guidance from Ka.So......two weeks ago, one of my co workers asks me if I'd be interested in opening a salon in the near future. She mentions two other co workers that she'd like to invite as well. I didn't think much about it at the time, but told her if I did anything like that, I'd want at least a year to plan it.....I like to have my ducks in a row that way.
Last week, at separate times, and without any knowledge of the other's interest both co workers that she mentioned asked me the same question.....one of the girls (we've worked together before) even mentioned that the only location that I've ever talked about for the last 20 years is available.
Now, I'm confused.....is this a sign? I don't know. While I'm not unhappy where I'm at, there are benefits of owning my own business, not the least of which is potentially semi-retiring in the future, and still earning a living from booth rental income.
I didn't realize that applied to turtles' necksIt's not the size that matters... it's how you use it.
Sure does. Where to you think the term loggerhead came from?I didn't realize that applied to turtles' necks
Yeah, it sure seems to be pointing me in that direction. I've owned a salon before, and loved it.....then my ex made me close it to work in his business. I never got rid of my equipment, though. Something in my heart wouldn't let me.This has gone beyond KAincidence. Approach of known possible workers, a desired location, stored equipment. I'm thinking that many secret taco Tuesday meetings will be happening in the next several months.
...and the crazy thing about that property I want is that it has been rented out on short terms since I first noticed it in the late 90s, but nothing long term has ever happened there. It's almost like the place has been waiting for me.

Thanks, CAT! I'm still a little overwhelmed by the possibilities. ♥It sounds like a sign to me as well, Sunny! Definitely do some research and consult with financial people, but sounds like it would be a great move. You know I wish you only the very best!! Big hugs!!
