Maybe a hint that a new novel takes place there???Wonder why Mr. King is interested in Ohio.
Stephen King @StephenKing Feb 10
Serious question here: Other than the one about Winesburg, by Sherwood Anderson, has anyone ever written a great novel about Ohio?

@StephenKing Crooked River Burning by Mark Winegardner. A love song to Cleveland. On my shelf next to Hearts in Atlantis.

@theoldehippie Oh, God, I forgot that one. Incredible book. Thanks for reminding me.
HAving a hard time following tweets, Still new at the game,
Did someone ask him about an Ohio novel?
Because I see many other people answering
Not gonna happen- if you research the history of TWD you will find that AMC did NOT treat Frank Darabont well (he's hasn't been attached to the show for three seasons now). Frank and Steve are friends (it was rumored that King was going to write an episode or two for the show) and when Frank 'left' the show, so did Steve. He's referring to The Walking Dead.
On a related note, I'd love to see SK as a guest on Talking Dead. AMC needs to make that happen.
I didn't think of that. It makes sense, though. I knew there was some bad blood when Darabont left the show. It appears he's still watching the show, however. Not gonna happen- if you research the history of TWD you will find that AMC did NOT treat Frank Darabont well (he's hasn't been attached to the show for three seasons now). I moved it to this thread but would have to look back through his twitter posts as I missed that one. I had no idea he had visited Kent State--not something that had ever come up before.First, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm sure most, if not all the people here follow or at least look at his feed. He posted a picture from Kent State a while back, asking people to identify which person was him. He never actually said which of those people was him. Do you know? I tried to upload the picture here and it didn't work. I can add a picture of a pig or monkey, though. I'm guessing he was the guy in the front with a book or magazine in his hand.
