Hey all
Just wanted to vent my frustration over eBay flippers and resellers.
I sat patiently waiting to order the signed limited edition of Sleeping Beauties fro Waterstones in the UK. It was retailing at £250 per copy, so not cheap to an average working guy like me.
They sold out within minutes of going online and I missed out.
"Fair enough" I think, will try again when he releases his next book maybe.
Then today I see this being touted on one of the FaceBook groups I am in :
Sleeping Beauties Stephen King Owen King SIGNED UK Waterstones Limited Edition! | eBay
...and it really wound me up, probably more than it should.
I mean, I know that this is common practice but for someone to purchase it online with the sole intention of flipping the item for a profit sickens me. Genuine Stephen King fans miss out on this, unless they are willing to pay 4-5 times the original price
Rant over.
Apologies but needed to air that
