(((Holly)))

"Be not afraid" and carry on the best you can. It's times like this that our faith is the rock upon which we rebuild ourselves over and over again. Please know that you, your father-in-law and your dad are all in my prayers today.

Oh my gosh - do you know the song "Be Not Afraid"? John Angotti?

GNTLGNT - that was just....you know. Lovely.

We sing it at church regularly.
Lovely, lovely song. I've only heard John's version. But wow, I play it over and over sometimes when I'm low.
Other songs that helped me - Indigo Girls - they have two very sort of uplifting/defeat your demons songs: Prince of Darkness (weird but true) and Secure Yourself.

My Father was taken suddenly in this same month in 1991. I miss him terribly.
Hold tightly to the light and sweet memories.....

(((Holly))) We are all thinking of you. About work i suppose it is different for different persons in situations like these. I know that the work and the support of my working comrades helped me a lot when my father died unexpected 7 years ago. But you should do what you feel is right for you. comforting vibes are sent.

This is one that comforts me. James wrote it after the death of his father left him lost for a while--long back story there, but it's his own reminder that you're never alone. If I get the priestly okay, I'd like it played when I kick off.

Gosh, I love this guy!

Thanks again for all your kind words everyone.
Yes, work is actually therapeutic in a way - it's so busy that I can forget for a while, somewhat. I've asked a few people to check over the things I'm doing just to make sure I don't make any mistakes - accounting is not a good place for mistakes. So far, so good.
