Started reading dt4 and the game of riddles with Blaine is fascinating reading so I thought a fun thread would be to start a riddle thread. Get it and then leave yours

Take any 2 American coins to equal 55 cents. But one of em can't be a 50 cent piece. What r the 2 coins

I think hearing these are harder than when you read em. Reading I think makes it easier. What u all think. For instance this one usually stumps most people. Not all but most. But when I read this the answer seems easier. Don't know what forces r at work here. Maybe the tower .

One night, a man receives a call from the Police. The Police tell the man that his wife was murdered, and that he should reach the crime scene as soon as possible. The man drops the phone, shocked, and drives 20 minutes to the crime scene. As soon as he reaches the crime scene, the police arrest him, and he is convicted of murder. How did the police know that he committed the crime?
