...he brought laughter and good tears to many a generation, with grace AND bluntness..."old" Hollywood that never grew old...for a man of small stature, he leave a huge hole in the fabric of entertainment...

Liked him as Whitey,in Boys Town,and also as Henry,in the beautifully photographed Black Stallion..RIP Mickey..
They don't make 'em like Mickey Rooney any more, a full-fledged entertainer.
He's with Judy now and guess what? They're finding an old barn and puttin' on a show!

RIP Mickey, thanks for the entertainment. all the greats are going to that silver screen in the sky. i just found out that Joan Fontaine died. my childhood is slipping from me all the time with each passing legend. RIP Mickey, RIP joan.
RIP Mickey you were an iconic actor and set the stage for many to follow.
