Stevie Nicks is a good pick, and I would say Def Leppard deserves a spot despite me not being the biggest fan of them.

Yet Blue Öyster Cult still isn’t inducted, they’ve well met the 25 year first album requirement, nearly double it. Maybe next year :(

....as someone that's been around and worked in radio for nearly 40 years, I still don't agree with inclusion of non rock & roll acts.....I have no dislike for Janet, Radiohead or The Cure-but they aren't from that genre, I don't care how anyone reasons it....let's see: Pyromania vs Rhythm Nation...I rest my case...*wanders off to find his ZZ Top Greatest Hits*......

I couldn't agree more. It's not the "pop" or "alterative" Hall of Fame.

And what gives with the Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame?

Iron Maiden, Jethro Tull, Dave Matthews Band, Pat Benatar, T-Rex, Tina Turner, The Monkees, Judas Priest, Soundgarden, Ozzy Osbourne, The Scorpions and Mötley Crüe get snubbed again.

What's up with that?
Some of them were eligible before Def Leppard were. Why do we make deserving artists wait so long?

The Cure not Rock and Roll? give me a break. What's the definition of Rock and Roll? Different generations. You can say they are a goth band. What about a band like Devo? Are they Rock and Roll?

The whole nomination and election process is a joke.

I agree it should be re-named to the Popular Music Hall of Fame or just Music Hall of Fame.

Using the Rock and Roll term is too limiting. There are many sub-genres and it will make purists made if you call Band A "rock" when someone else views them as "punk" or "alternative" or "hard core" or "shoe-gaze emo intentionally ironic mod goth". Labels aren't cool, man!

However, disco artists should be banned! 'Cause it's Disco and Disco is poop!;):p

I’d say any rock sub-genre should be eligible,
