Have never been to an IKEA although I would like to. The closest one to Bangor is in Massachusetts--over 200 miles away--so not enough incentive to make that happen.
Sounds like a plan.Yes! And add a lunch date with (and of course my treat) Hoss to your adventure. We can meet at Ikea and have the meatballs!
They are HUGE. The one in Tampa is actually not as big as some, but it's still giant. Lots of really cool stuff there. Most of it is very reasonably priced. Great place to go to furnish a small apartment, dorm room, etc.Have never been to an IKEA although I would like to. Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread with Ikea Kurben!
We have a princess Leonore. No connection to Leia of Star Wars fame. She is the now 1-year old daughter of Princess Madeleine. Don't know if its her you thinking about.Kurben - They are beautiful! Congratulations to your country on your upcoming royal wedding.
Don't you also have a Princess Leah, named after Princess Leia from Star Wars? Or am I thinking of some other European monarchy?
FlakeNoir - We just got an IKEA here in the last couple of years. It's pretty awesome. Come visit and I'll take you there.
We also have Trader Joe's now, too. Once we get In Out Burger there we be no reason for Colorado to feel inadequate on the national stage as far as chain stores are concerned...

I was thinking of Princess Leah of Norway. Not Sweden. I suck at "map."
I made a broken link I can't fix, or erase. Unless I erased it.... Nope. Please ignore my link-that-isn't-a-link.... Apparently I suck at "SKMB," too.
Never heard of her before. Thanks for info!!I was thinking of Princess Leah of Norway. Not Sweden. I suck at "map."

Genuinely. Grow up in a little town in northern sweden, when she was 18 she moved to stockholm, aS SO MANY DO, and worked as a waitress. Won a beauty contest at the age of 20, moved to NY and started an interest in, childrens and womens rights while working as a Yogateacher. Did volunteer work in Ghana and founded a foundation ,Project Playground, and it was through that foundation she met the prince. Thats a short bio. Cant compare at all to MS. Middleton when it comes to background. This 'ere bride-to-be...is she genuinely 'from the people', or is she a commoner in the sense that Ms Middleton was a commoner (i.e. not at all, actually)?
And staropeace - much as I'd like to go 'Oi!' regarding your looks comment...sadly, I have to agree. It's the inbreeding that does it (and who could have predicted what would happen to Wills? ).

There was one little surprise, both for the guests, the tv-viewers and the groom. After the usual speeches were held, first the grooms father(the King), the brides father and last the groom himself. Then at the end of the dinner Sofia herself rose and made, not a speech really, more of an introduction to a song she written about her love. She said that she had always done things her way and planned on continuing doing that. Then a wellknown swedish artist came in and sang the song she and Sofia written together. Allt jag är (means All that i am). A complete surprise for the prince. It was really moving and a bit refreshing with this big break with all tradition.
