Book read and reread multiple times. TV miniseries devoured. Guess I’ll bite the bullet and check it out.
....as an adaptation, it was anything but true....as a film(if you catch my difference), it's well done....
It is well done but watching it was thinking I’d see Desperation and finding The Regulators instead. Story was ok, good picture of a deteriorating alcoholic.
While I can see you’ve already gone and watched the film, I would still say that while it’s nowhere near a mirror-image to the novel, it’s still a great movie with superb acting and camera work.
