So begins the true story of one of my favorite books. Although, relatively speaking, I do not look anything like Annie, I'm not a nurse or live on a farm, but I fully understand the longing, love, LOVE, a character. I just finished in two days "Finders Keepers" or as it is called in Argentina, "loser pays" and I can only scream hereby: THANK YOU !!!
If "Mr. Mercedes" loved this far exceeded my expectations. At the time not overlook the similarities between "Mr. Mercedes" and "Legion" by William Peter Blatty. Among the Inspector Bill Hodges Kinderman and there is much in common, it hurts that one could understand Sunlight, even to love him a little, and instead only generates repulsion Brady. But it is wonderful and a comfort to me to know that we like the same stories. William Blatty is my favorite author after "adivinenquien?". Also I have to say that last week buy in used a copy of "The Guadian in the Rye" for my daughter, haha! who would tell me that there would be a relationship between Salinger and Mr. Rothstein?
Well, I do not usually write about what I read and never you never got a post in my life, so I hope you understand me. I have so much to say! I do not want to spoil this book. If someone agrees with me, write to me.
