Hi everyone,
It's so good to be back on the SK message board, and I thought I'd put the link to some of my writing out there because I'd value opinions. The poetry is pretty crumby - it was written a few years ago while coming out of one toxic relationship (which I won't go into here) Anyway, the prose pieces, I like a little better. My plan in the next couple of years is to turn the 'idea' of Red Room into a novel, but I need to find the time! If anyone has read Janice Galloway's 'The Trick is to Keep Breathing' they might identify with the writing style. The problem I have, and I'd value any advice on this, is that the subject matter is very 'close to the bone' ....and, well I'm trying to figure out a way to detach myself enough to finish the job. Does this make any sense?? I must also add that the website has been floating about untouched for a couple of years, so a lot of the info needs updated.
