Hope that never happens to Stephen and his family again. Anyone who dares enter MY house is getting a broom and a list of chores to do.

That line cracked me up!Hope that never happens to Stephen and his family again. Anyone who dares enter MY house is getting a broom and a list of chores to do.
Hadn't heard that one. (Aww, my favourite dunno guy has gone.)Didn't he hit one with a frying pan once when he found one in his house? I remember reading something like that.
Maybe I'm confusing it with something else.Hadn't heard that one. (Aww, my favourite dunno guy has gone.)
I'm not sure--maybe I just haven't heard of it? Marsha will know.Maybe I'm confusing it with something else.
That's good! They weren't at the Bangor house when this happened.
That line cracked me up!
This is HUGELY inappropriate considering the subject matter of this thread, (here it comes) but the title of this thread keeps getting messed up in my head when I catch a glimpse of it... lets just say, has anybody here seen Val Kilmer's movie Top Secret?
(I told you... HUGELY inappropriate.)

Holy cow. It must have been horribly unnerving to talk to this guy.No, he wasn't at home when the intruder broke in quite a few years ago. Tabby was at home alone when that happened but she was able to get out and went to a neighbor's house to call the police who arrested him. I think he spent a couple of years as a guest of the state for that but it may have been worse because he claimed to have a bomb. He was upset because he wanted Stephen to provide him with an apartment, cigarettes, and contact lenses as I recall so that he could write a book and we had told him that would not be possible. He'd also had some other interesting *theories* he shared with me when he'd been at our office a few days prior to the break-in.

I think you have to have *problems* to do something like this.
Holy COW! I'm glad you're not put in that position anymore!Especially since I'd stupidly sat down at the desk in the reception area which was situated in such a way that I was blocked in unless I attempted to hop up on the desk and scale over the half wall to get to the door adding in the difficulty factor of wearing heels and a skirt. It was after that that we had cameras installed and the door is locked at all times and I don't repeat that mistake--I'm always aware of where my exit is.
