I loved the novel so much I've reread it several times and looking forward to the movie! I don't understand some of the trailer of course but why change Abbra??? That I just don't get. Other movies you have stayed pretty much true to character this change I don't understand at all.

Hi iamcorky2! I never understand thse changes either. I liked Idris Elba in The Dark Tower but found no need to change it at all. I guess if your a hep cat director you want to be cutting edge and shocking and make it your own somehow. Not enough people pay homage to the artist anymore. Welcome!!

Good question. There's a quote from the movie Pan's Labyrinth which I will now botch: "The truth will become clear for those who have eyes to see." Perhaps if you keep meditating on it, the answer to your question will find you. My favorite part of the story was that there is still redemption in the beyond.
