What are some of the moments that made you cringe?
Are there any scenes that took you by surprise?
Any gross-out moments?
Depressing? Shocking?
Cringe/(Sad)...

When Mordred tricked the baby billy bumbler into thinking he was safe and then ate him. That hurt me.

Surprise...

I did NOT expect Jack Sawyer to die. Like, at all.

Gross-Out Moment...

That damn stray dog eating him made me a bit...ick. I have no idea why. I've read much grosser things but that just..ew, no.

Depressing/Shocking...

When Gard went in Bobbi's barn/shed/whatever and saw Peter in one of those green tanks. I just...ech.

To me it was just something about
everybody in town gradually losing their teeth, and then everything else as they began to transform into alien slave drones that made me unsettled/ squicky in the pit of the stomach a little.

I have not read The Dark Tower series in quite some time, but there's a part in it where, I believe, a weasel-type thing is talking with another man, and somehow the weasel-man ends up willingly
eating the boogers of the other guy. King has a way of painting vivid pictures with his words, and that part just disgusted me more than anything I've ever read before or since. That's worse than adult Bev Marsh realizing she had just taken a sip of feces.
