Seriously? "Bossy" is a bad word now?

I think it's time we stop raising our daughters to be fragile, inferior human beings.

The women in my family and in my circle are both loving and resilient.... if we spent our time wringing our hands and cowering over words like "Bossy", we wouldn't be who we are. Girl, please. Words don't define us, WE do.

LOL - I'm as mild and meek as they come and somehow I've managed to produce two girls who are fierce and confidant and not afraid of anything. Some say they're bossy, I say that's not a bad thing - they certainly know how to stand their ground and not be tripped up by fear.

People have called me many things that weren't nice from childhood/schoolage/adult hood .....whenever I was a kid and feeling bad because someone said something mean to me .... my mother always told me that old adage .... "sticks and stones" ..... and she was right ...
that being said .... I grew up to be a mother of two wonderful sons and a director of nursing in 3 different skilled nursing facilities ....
