I have to say this particular narrator made an interesting choice for Sadies voice, I thought his other female voices were spot on, yet the style he chose for Sadie, seemed a little congested. It wasn't horrible just made her sound a little more mature than It was in my head. Which was Donna Reed with a slight southern hint. LOL

I love audiobooks too. I can clean my house, garden, do just about anything and am so engrossed in the stories that I don't mind what I'm doing. :)
I haven't noticed the topic you brought up but it does make sense. Most of the SK audios I've listened to have been well-narrated and I haven't even noticed the women's voices not being that of a woman. But that's me. You bring up a good point.
