I am so in the minority here- I enjoy cooking and housework. It is an escape, a release for me. With extreme heat this summer, cooking isn't as extensive as I'd like. Oven completes with AC. Now in winter, fresh baked breads, pies and goodies. All things made from scratch. Came from a family where everything had its own place, thus organization still sticks with me. Unfortunately it did not pass to the offspring! I will agree, reading is much more fun!!

I don't enjoy cleaning, exactly. But I feel great looking around at a job well done, and it makes me proud of my house and my place in it. If that makes any sense.

Yes ma'am, it does! I hope I can make it. Usually, I get one trip a year, and I spend that on grandkids. Last summer, it was the grandsons.
