Misery, I just read your post! We are ka-tet! Post away, I always enjoy reading them.
I have never been on any other forums myself and I have no desire to do so. You can not find a better group of people right here.

Trolls? Our fine Mods spray most of them before the post. Some sneak through now and then and I think it's fun to spot a random stinker. The Tet will take call them out with respectful though often hilarious results.

Keep posting! ( I am looking and saying the same to you Alexandria!) :)

Based on your memories, what were you in your past life?

I got:
Back_Vergangenheit_Pirat.jpg

In your past life you were a
Pirate
What your memories show about you is that you are a born rebel. While you know all the rules very well and understand how to benefit from the fact that others are following them, you consider them to be rough guidelines at best when it come to your own actions. Others could not even fathom the existence of the worlds that you are discovering outside of the constraints of rules. In your past life this made you a successful pirate whose life was full of treasure and adventures.

n your past life you were an
Artist
What your memories show about you is that you have a natural creative streak. To you, the world is more colorful, iridescent and exciting than it is to others, even while you are only sitting in a quiet room. If all else fails, you build entire new worlds in your imagination. In your past life this made you a talented artist who was masterful at translating grandiose ideas into reality and capturing the imagination of the people.

(I can sit in a quiet room and see things? oh wait.. what's that over there)

I don't usually post stuff like this but since it's all working out then I will. It's been a bit of a stressy week so I haven't been on here.(not that anyone missed me ;;D) My Dad ends up in the hospital this past Sunday and I find out from my stepmother Monday night. I have Mondays off so I had all day to visit him but no. I get along with her well so I didn't make an issue of it. What's the point in a fight? Anyway he had heart issues and they were talking possible surgery but nope, they did a dye cath test and only had to put one stent in and he went home yesterday so yay. Then I have a little dog who is my world(turned 17 today!) and he's been coughing badly the past few days. Has had a couging issue for a couple of years(collapsing trachea, common in small dogs)and is on medicine which has worked great until now. I called the vet and she said maybe he's starting to get congestive heart failure. I made an appt. for Monday, rethought that and changed it to Friday(that's what sick time is for and I never take it!)and ended up taking him yesterday. She took a chest film and said his heart is a little enlarged but not into heart failure territory yet. Going to start him on heart meds just to be safe. I asked her if I'm just prolonging the inevitable and she said "he's happy, I can tell, he's healthy otherwise and if he still eats fine, goes to the bathroom fine and plays then he's not ready yet" Whew. I'm not in denial, he is 17, but I'll take even a few more months with him.
Anyway, long winded but thought I would share because I feel like I can here :cheerful:

Have a great weekend everyone!!
Glad to hear things turned out well. Have a great weekend.

In your past life you were a
Queen
What your memories show about you is that you not only have a highly charismatic manner with which you enchant everyone but that you are also highly strong-minded and determined. You understand how to skillfully combine passion and a cool, calculating behavior to achieve things that seem unachievable at first. In your past life this made you a powerful ruler who not only reigned in a judicious manner but was also loved by her people.

What your memories show about you is that you have a highly spiritual streak. While others only notice the apparent things around them, you sense and intuit almost automatically what is going on within the people and the nature around you. You like to use this knowledge to help others in life. In your past life this made you a wise witch who defied danger to use her knowledge of herbs for the good of the entire village.

Combined post.

I've been around but not on THIS thread, and Claire, it's great to see you back! You've been missed!

My news, I guess.... the cardiologist looked at my EKG, said it looked perfectly normal, like any well-functioning heart. Blood work came back, the lipid panel fine - 143 combined score, if I remember right - and kidney and liver functions were all good.

Elevated blood pressure that I can't get rid of, and every time I think about it, my blood pressure goes up, so I need to stop thinking about it. I'm heading out and talking my camera for a walk in the mountains today. It's sunny and beautiful.

Have a grand day, everyone.

Hey Claire! :grinning:

Annoyed again - you guys are going to have to put up with me until after this move. I was going to sell my kitchen set as you know. Cried about the thing last nite. Person came over all huffy (it does not have a pedestal! This is of no use to me!!)

Now I am just trying to donate things. This is what I wanted to do anyway. I can not get org to pick anything up and I can not deliver. It is such a shame for people in need. Hey! I got nice stuff here!

Here is my table (pic not mine) - but it does not have that center pedastal!!! Has nice legs. (and knows how to use them)

Claire... So nice to have you back!!. But i agree about grief, it does make you do funny things,

In my case, after i came home from my trip i have read a lot less (ashamed to say...) The hours usually spent reading i have found myself bingewatching different tvseries! Can you imagine. I have bingewatched several seasons of Big Bang Theory, Unforgettable, Marvels agents of Shield and House of Cards. Also one season of Flash, Daredevil, Arrow and Gotham. Its like ive gone through some kind of change that doesn't make sense. I mean these series arent close in quality to King or McCammon or a lot of others so why? Just a passing of time? But why, it is so not me? I have managed to read some SF and a biography over Augustus, the first Roman Emperor but otherwise it has been tvseries and the comic Modesty Blaise, an adventure comic that is actually quite OK, but still it is crazy. So i guess this post is a kind of confession. I'm here waiting for the voice that says that i'm forgiven.....

:very_drunk:Good answer but actually the guy ahead of me said three days (wrong) and my guess was two days and it turned out to be right!

(I had to give my information which took a few minutes so I was five minutes late for work, but it was worth it!)
I picked the tickets up at the radio station after work yesterday. They are for Saturday.

Who the heck am I going to take? Andy is up North :concern::sorrow:
Take me!!!!

Take care of that ticker Grandpa
I have the elevated blood pressure now, too - but the doc says it is 'borderline' so no meds yet. - Do you take a low dose Aspirin every day?
