My favorite episodes were with Jack Cassidy. Man, he could play one nasty guy because I think he was a pretty nasty guy in real life.
My wife doesn't like watching anything that Jack Cassidy was in. She was in love with David Cassidy back in the day and I think she still carries a torch for him. It's too bad that David Cassidy seems to have followed his father in terms of an addiction to alcohol.

If you look at David Cassidy now, you see Jack. It is so crazy. And yes, I loved David too. I bought every issue of Tiger Beat for him, Bobby Sherman, Robby Benson and Davy Jones.

We went down to Salt Lake City in 2004 to see him in concert. She hesitated over the money and I told her to get the tickets and early Merry Christmas. It was a very good concert.

He had such a tough relationship with his dad -- you would've thought he'd steer clear of every vice that guy had just to NOT be like him.

I've loved Columbo for years. Since the 70's I guess when it first came on TV. Currently 'Vision TV' plays old ones over and over again, but only about 10 of them. The season one set I rented had a Jack Cassidy one in there, as well as one directed by Spielberg (I think they were the same one). I just love his relentless style, all of that aw shucks politeness, and a beautiful mind underneath. I did not know he passed away. RIP Peter Falk!
