In your mirror.
Good evening.

May all be well or on the mend.

We have a lot of new members. Yay! And I have read posts from them stating they are very happy to be here. In addition, I have read their posts where they state they have never been a part of a MB such as ours. They feel included, accepted, and they can post, create a thread, ask for feedback, share and ask for support. Cool, huh?

I was a newbie not long ago. I fricked up a couple of dozen times (Ha!) but I was always accepted, not judged and guided gently along the way.

We share our joys and sorrows. And we are met with "Congratulations!" "You go!" "We always knew you could do it!" Or, " I'm so sorry to hear you are going through that." And so forth.

But, what I really want to say, convey, SKMB members will send out - prayers, lighting candles, saying a novena, well wishes, healing vibes, green lights, and love and light... Peace

We don't take offense if a member sends us prayers, well-wishes, vibes ....even if that member does not hold to those beliefs. They understand what we mean. "We are thinking about you. We want you to be well. We are concerned. You and yours are in our thoughts"

When a member is in trouble...we round up the wagons.

It doesn't matter two whits what happened on the MB or how our politics, religion, spiritual or non beliefs differed. (I'm trying. Bear with me.)

We just...are. The SKMB family.

Siggie.

Peace.

Great post Sigmund! I miss your old fairies you used to send on the previous board. I remember posting a picture of what to me looked like a pizza with a funny caption. It turned out to be something the members of SKMB had created and sent to Mr. King (was my face red!) They forgave me after I apologized. It is good to be able to laugh about silly stuff like that now!

Lovely post Sigmund. i am only here a few months and i kind of did it backwards, hey i'm left handed. i should have started at newbies and then post. But the members are all wonderful and warm and this is the best board i have ever been on.
Starting in the Newbie area isn't really required, but I think sometimes new folks feel more comfortable doing so. :)

I love you all! When something good happens, I can't wait to share it with you and you have held me up in times of extreme sorrow as well. All the differing opinions on everything under the sun, there is always a laugh to be found, support and fellowship too. I learn here daily. I am really proud to be a part of this family.
