The Durham family murders....this happened locally in 1972....still unsolved.
The article is a couple of years old....the murders are now 42 years old

Edit....I was five when the murders took place. Charlie Whitman attends the same church as I do.....they got Sheriff Carroll's name wrong in the article....His name was Ward, not Wade.

I'm having a hard time explaining where all my beer went.
I just saw this phenomenon explained on a Discovery show called "Weird or What?" on Netflix over the weekend. It was on the very first episode. Mother nature is getting crazier all the time-she must be going through the (climate) change!

I will try it.
Mostly these people took some calmative, alcohol sometimes (makes you even more sleepy),
they smoked and they laid unter a blanket.
So they fell asleep the blanket gets on fire because of the cigarette and they do not wake up because of the alcohol and the calmative.
It's a kind of stack-effect and only the feet or sometimes the legs are not burnt to ashes.
Hope somebody did understand this.
