On this American holiday (wish you all the joy of it), I thought I would share a rather surprising realization that struck me today, as I am enjoying a return to the DT books.
One of my other "online gigs" is as a moderator for a website that monitors the threat of nuclear war in the world. We are beginning to include movie reviews as part of our content, and the one I'm re-watching now is The Day After from 1983, with the director's commentary. I've seen it a number of times, but it wasn't until today that I noticed the name of the actor who plays pragmatic farmer Jim Dahlberg in the film:
John Cullum.
And yes, ka is a wheel. Now I'm wondering how sai King decided to name this minor but pivotal character. Has he ever said?
