...did he pursue litigation for all the times you ran into him?...
I'm 5'11" and used to be around 200lb at the time, and Peter could easily bowl me over. He wasn't much of a conversationalist either. I love what he did with his car though. '85 Grand Am, if I remember correctly. He looked very much out of place in the middle of predominantly Orthodox Jewish neighborhood.

A friend of mine gave me a tape by Carnivore, Retaliation, back in high school, around '87, to tell on my age, was my first exposure to mister Petrus Steele ...

Had a nice Halloween moment in a local convenience store. One of the clerks, a young man from India, kept running excitedly to a window or door to check out all the costumed kids going by. He thought it was adorable but was rather mystified by it all. "In my country we have many festivals, but we know why they all are." The other clerk and I explained some of the origins and customs of Halloween and reasons for them. He hadn't heard of Ray Bradbury or Chuck Jones, but I told him the story of the young trick-or-treater standing on his head in Chuck Jones's yard and he found it charming!

Here's the pumpkin my son carved.

For anyone that doesn't play video games. It's Majora's Mask. The light I bought changes colours, red green and blue, which actually goes with the design. He did an awesome job. A girl dressed as Link (main character from the same series of video games) was absolutely thrilled when she saw it. I think she wanted to take our pumpkin.

Treats.

I started with 290 candy bars, a dozen bracelets, 20 sheets of stickers, 15 sheets of tattoos, and about 5 baby biscuits.

I have about 8 sheets of tattoos, one baby biscuit and maybe 20 candy bars left. Even for this neighbourhood, this was a lot of kids.

Seeing all those crows reminds me how when my fake one goes off it makes the real ones nearby start in. There is one that does the tune for "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner. The "hot blooded... I'm hot blooded" part.

Happy Halloween from my favorite witch.
