I remember when this came out. I was so excited. I'd loved the idea of a serial novel and had snapped up all of the Green Mile, so when it was announced that the Plant would be the same I was ready. I paid for each installment, marveling over the idea that you could get books on the Internet (shows my age doesn't it) and then it was just over. it was never finished. Now I sit and wait to see if I'll ever live long enough to know if The Plant or The Winds of Winter ever gets finished.

...we shall be the proverbial dust in the wind, and still no conclusion.....

I remember paying for my installments by cheque and in my notes column I'd write something like "And then he jumped from the roof and landed right on the...(to be continued)". I re-read that about a year ago and still pine for a conclusion. I think Mr. King should toss it over to us and we can cobble together an ending via the yearly Hallowe'en story. :)
