Greg Lake, co-founding member of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, died Dec. 7 at 69

This broke my heart. I've loved Greg since I first heard C'est La Vie in 1977. That velvet voice! Nobody can sing a grace note like Greg. Went to see his Songs Of A Lifetime show a few years ago. Got the VIP tix so we could meet him after. He was so wonderful! Warm and funny and huggy. It seemed now, in retrospect, knowing that he was fighting the cancer even then, that he was trying to share his songs and meet his fans before he couldn't.

He was a beautiful soul with a voice to match. This is the song that won me over:

Here's a picture of me and Greg after the concert in 2012. The prednisone... I should've seen it but I was blinded by that smile.
