Wasn't it the best ending ever? I just sobbed and sobbed. My kids were with me and just watching me. I think I had them a little shook up.Thank you for this, Dana Jean. I viewed this classic ending to Six Feet Under many times after it ended. What a beautiful way to see what happened to our beloved characters. Thank you for reminding me to view again. I wish Mr. Ball would come up with another good series.
Well, if it's a good slow burn, I'll be happy. There will be eight in total. Don't expect it to pick up the pace. It's a slow burn.
Yes, it is.I have to watch Eps 2 and 3 still. Is it worth it?
Of course she did daddy.Thank you, I wanted to do the second one yesterday afternoon, but my daughter had other plans.....
I am so sad to say - I had a busy night and didn't get to watch - so I'm avoiding this thread until I catch up. I dvr'd it, so I should be able to watch it tonight.Back on track here -- so, what did you think of last night's episode? My thoughts:
I'm getting really tired of the sex stuff. I know I sound totally prudish, but I'm not. If the sex and nudity is important to a story, then it has to be there. It's the story. But when you add it just so Woody can grope another woman, stop. It insults my intelligence. And I do have some. HBO and Showtime have gotten it into their heads that just because they can, they should. They are likening nudity and sex with intelligent story telling. To me, it can be used to hide the weakness of the plot. And I'm getting really worried that this is what is happening here.
This show has so much potential, by now they should be picking up the pace and really pulling me in. How many episodes do they get for this season?

Is this intriguing anyone else besides me? Starts January 12, HBO starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
