I am nearing the end of BLACK HOUSE and I'm very impressed. I would really love to see it made into either a good-length movie, a series of movies or a TV miniseries. I often tend to picture the characters as actors I've seen, and I have a VERY clear picture of Henry Leyden; I see him played by the actor Michael Riley, who played "Jax" in CUBE ZERO, the prequel of the CUBE trilogy. And I see Jack Sawyer played by Ray Liotta, most memorable to me from his role in IDENTITY (2003). I have not yet read THE TALISMAN but intend to. Perhaps THE TALISMAN could be adapted for cinema or TV first?...although I haven't read it, I assume it's as awesome.

These things change over time but right now I imagine Gabriel Macht playing both the young and old Jack. If you check him out as a kid with his dad, Stephen Macht, he has that "LA, son of an actor thing, but at the same time kind of humble and cool" vibe. He also has that dreamy wheat coloured hair going on and the mix of tough and vulnerable qualities i always imagine Jack having.
