...the loss of life is beyond comprehension...and I grieve for the souls that have gone on , and also for those left behind to try to pick up and live....
Prayers going out to those people. I'm hoping some kind of help reaches them soon.
The devastation is only just being realized I'm afraid. The amount of aid and timing on getting it in there to help is going to be critical.
Additional Prayers are being offered in the God Bomb thread. May these survivors find the strength they will need in the coming days, weeks, months.
Thoughts and prayers being said. Hope they get help soon. Food,water and shelter is in need now.

Dead bodies lying around everywhere. I couldn't believe what I saw on the news last night about this. Hopefully all that will be taken care of shortly.

It's really hard to wrap your head around just how totally devastating this is...

Some are digging up pipes just to get water. I hope the survivors can get back on their feet soon.

I think you might be right....
We have many Filipino workers here that have been helping out with the Christchurch rebuild after the earthquakes, there are stories of these folks trying desperately to get news of their loved ones at home. It's completely devastating. (I just remembered something I 'did to help' someone...)
