Has anyone else found their book to have printing errors? I was reading the hard cover I checked out from the base library, and when I got to page 690 it skips to page 723. I tried to find the missing pages online, holding off reading ahead but was unable to. So as if skipping ahead, which I learned a long time ago not to do with Mr. King's works, I kept reading until I got to page 754. Then guess what,
it jumps back to page 723. Is this like the end of the Dark Tower series where Roland finally gets in the tower only to find himself back in the desert?

My guess is that the military (the government) paid double or maybe event triple for this book, a special offer made available from the publisher. Have heard of printing errors like this and experienced it once in a paperback...Puck, for what it's worth. I'd even hazard that there are other base libraries with variations on this theme.

Sound like an error in correct order of assembly of the page parts. Others have reported similar issues with a variety of books.

These things happen once in a while. I really hate when I'm that far into something and that happens. Ever been watching a dvd and have it fail with 20 minutes left in the movie? That's pretty annoying too.

I hated audio books on cassette because there always seems to be one bad tape.
