So many of you are mentioning creepshow 2, but I’m talking about sequels to movies based off his books. Plus it was still written by Romero and King so it’s not really unofficial.
How can it be an 'unofficial' sequel if it's something based off of a movie that's based on a King book? If it's unofficial then it's plagiarized.

I’m aware, the thing is that Creepshow is an anthology set in the world of a comic book, including other stories not based on his shorts.

But you didn't specify that. You also mentioned Children of the Corn and The Mangler, which were also short stories, just like the ones in Creepshow 1 and 2.

In any case, Creepshow 2 feels a lot like those other sequels, in that it is nowhere near as good as the original. And people mention it, because it's one of the few that's actually watchable. The thrid story at least has the classic line: 'Thanks for the ride, lady!'

Yes, but... Creepshow 2 was still written by King. If you’re gonna put a creepshow movie in here it would have to be 3.

I also like the line "That's gonna cost ya Mrs Lansing"
