I ordered a book and was sent the wrong one. Not once but twice. Customer service said the first time they would replace it with the correct book. Arrives today and another wrong book. Try emailing and nothing yet but last time took them several days to get back to me. I paid $42 and they sent me a damn Romance novel. Iam a bit disappointed what should be my next step? Any ideas. Has this ever happen to anyone else here?

....no ma'am, but be persistent and keep after them....at the very least they should not only send you what you ordered, but kick back at least half your purchase price....

This all depends on the company you're dealing with. That's outrageous! It's never happened to me but in similar situations I usually ask for a supervisor or highest in command and never take 'no' for an answer, especially in a situation like yours.

Linda- I am sorry to hear about this again. They sure messed up! It does take a couple of days for them to respond to emails (especially this time of year) but keep contacting them. They will make it right. If they can't send you the correct book then they have to issue you a full refund. I've had it happen to me twice and each time they just issued a refund and told me to keep the wrong book that they sent.

I have emailed like 5 times over the first screw up and now not happy. Both books they sent weren't even close to what I ordered.

I'm sorry you have to be going through all this crud.

When you call to talk to a supervisor/manager and you are on the phone with them ask for their name and employee #. (Too many times, when a customer has a complaint a regular employee will SAY they are a supervisor and just spin you.)

TELL the supervisor/manager you are keeping a record of the calls. Example: Ma'am/Sir, It's December 18, 2017, 12:27 pm. I'm talking to John, the Supervisor, employee # 12345. I'm complaining about a book that I ordered and have twice been sent the wrong book. You are now telling me you will correct that mistake by doing... Is that correct? I'm writing it down. " KEEP A RECORD of the calls and e-mails and make sure they know you are keeping a record.

You'd be surprised how much attention your complaint will get when people KNOW you are keeping a record and writing it down.

You might also *mention* you will go on Face Book, Yelp, Twitter, Snap-chat, etc. to tell of your cruddy experience. (That might get you some leverage and some perks for your troubles.)

Good luck!

Peace.

Ok now Iam upset. Reordered The Long Walk from them again . from their site but different add and another state where it was. Recived it today. Wrong book for a third time. What is their deal. Customer service has been any help in this situation. Beware when ordering. I was dumb to try them again.
