Does anyone realize that if Melanie goes down the tunnel/hole, the original 4 hands of Pauline, Sam, Lyle and Melanie will be reunited. What would that mean? Especially if Melanie brought the egg with her.

Maybe it means the show would be over. I can't stand all these silly twists and turns it's taking! I wish I could be done with it, but now I have to know what happens. Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!

I thought about that, too. Isn't that logical now that
Melanie appeared from the dead again to make four hands? Is there a chance these four hands should really be killed? And again... we already know the dome is kind of protecting the town from something, ain't it? Does it mean something would be a threat from outside? Maybe it will be connected with Barbie as he is going to come closely to the dome with his dad...
So many questions still left, I just hope we have not so many episodes left (and, God, I hope it will not be prolonged again, now as almost all the puzzles are getting solved). To be honest now I get bored sometimes, but I really want to know where it all ends.
yeah, I thought that red door would appear in the tunnel. Maybe that obelisk has a red door? Do obelisks have doors? I didn't watch The Time Tunnel but I did watch Sliders
This was my thought too. Okay, now they know how to get out. Everyone just jumps, they land safe, they are out. BUT, the fact that Lyle is messed up and Sam is twitching, obviously doing this comes at some risk. What problem will Barbie manifest?

If Melanie worked it out and jumped with the egg and got to the others before the 'effects' set in will Sam and Lyle be able to help? ()Lot of ifs and scope.. )
disappointed, too! I guess my DT theories are KAPUT...(lobstrosities are in The Drawing of the Three...they are like man-eating lobster creatures [/SPOILERS]

I'm ready for an ending to the current mystery too. The series could continue with like sequels and further adventures in the tunnels and the obelisk and whatever is behind the red door. The storyline for Murder in the First ended Monday night after ten episodes but the series will continue. Had there been more than ten episodes, I would have quit caring how the story ended y'know?
No lobstrosities please. Read Drawing of the Three two blocks from beach after reading Dreamcatcher. They are aquatic sh.tweasels I never want to meet!
Look forward to UTD but seems rushed and without the consistency of his novels. There seems to be a few directions the story could take and interested to see where it goes if it becomes a longer running series.

I'm interested in seeing where the story takes, as well. With adapting books to TV, it's hard. You want it to be consistent with the book, but you also want the TV show to be its own. I think right now, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are good examples of that. But for UTD, we'll just have to wait and see! I think it will get another season.
I wonder what direction the story would have taken if the actress who played Angie hadn't left [/QUOTE] Guess we create our own for that one but they used it for some interesting complications and they're coming together. Miss the character tho, dome could give her back - peeved which would complicate the original 4...... books answer most questions...

Haven't seen the other shows. Enjoyed the UTD book but enjoying the opportunity to see what else he would do with the concepts. Viewing the book as one possible outcome and the series as another. Being an SK story expecting the unexpected...

Haven is another good example. I love Haven's format - a new mystery that gets solved each week within a season long story that gets solved each season within a series long story. I think I read somewhere that CBS wants to run UTD for 3 to 5 seasons.

Yes! Haven is another one--I especially loved how they expanded the mythology in the show. Don't know what to expect! I can see UTD have 3 or 4 seasons
seems reluctant to get involved but could be important to accessing doors etc that they need
Aliens viewing humans as we do ants is more comforting thought to the atrocities our governments force upon people.... but... wasn't "our military did this to us" one of the earliest reactions of those under the dome? Not stoopid at all
