The writer of the review seemed less than overjoyed with the novel but brings up some interesting points, and I like how they brought up how Donnie Darko's mother was reading it in the film, I totally missed that.

Maybe it should have been split off into two novels but not because it was a boring read, just would have been easier to carry it around back in the day when I was reading it at school. But other than the bulk/size of the book, I don't know what the reviewer is going on about on a lot of things and I think they're being silly on a lot of things. But it is the Verge, their reviewers are nuts.
