I'm making Swedish brunch for dinner tonight:
scrambled eggs with gravlax trimmings and sour cream and dill
Wasa crackers and limpa bread with butter
vinegar cucumbers
That sounds good :eat_pig: (have you had Vinetarte?) I think it's called veenatarta (phonetically) - it's an Icelandic cake with seven layers.

it is popular in Gimli, Manitoba during their Icelandic Festival

Is she feeling better?

Indeed, and thank you! The soup settled well, and after one day (Saturday) of feeling down, we got through the rest of the weekend (both Sunday and Monday in this US holiday weekend) with good energy and accomplishment. Got through a bunch of nagging errands, a load of yardwork, and finished up with a family get-together, late afternoon grilling and gathering around a fire pit. Very nice way to cap off the weekend.

We finally finished off the soup tonight. The longer it sat, the better it got.

Today is a curry sort of day :) Only day that 's going to be even a little cool this week, so I'm taking advantage of it by making a fall vegetable curry: Fall Vegetable Curry Recipe | MyRecipes.com Just looking at the recipe, I can see that I'll probably spice it up a bit, and I'll likely use squash in place of the sweet potatoes (so I don't have to go buy any), but other than that--YUM! I usually make a creamy curry sauce, so this red sauce sounds interesting :)
