I've finished it and I have to say, it's a whole new type of crime fiction. Very hard to put down, so I left it down until I could really sink in. Great characters. But hold on to your hats my friends.

Thanks. This novel, I can tell already. I am already aching for them, and I don't even know what's really happening yet.
My heart be still. Mr. King at his finest, with just a few chapters in me.

It will be there waiting when you are ready. It can sit for so long - But you know the words are calling to you.

I've picked it up and had a hard time putting it down. I'm not ready to get that deep yet. It's that good. Already upset and attached to the characters.
Oh, Steve pulled a Hitchcock on us! I'm really upset!! Was able to read about 150 pages yesterday and I want to get back to it quickly!

Scythe-Neil Shusterman. Post apocalyptic YA about people who 'glean' others in a future where death from natural or accidental caues no longer occurs. Interesting so far!

Wool-- A dystopian novel about people living in a silo, with toxic atmosphere outside. Eh. It was okay. Don't know that I'll go out of my way to pick up the sequels.

Sunshine--recommended by a friend. It has vampires, that's all I know. Based on that alone, there is a high likelihood that I'll be at least okay with it, when I get to it next week :)

These are all library books that I need to finish before I can start The Outsider, which I got on release day.

I bought a 2nd hand comic recently and the artwork is by Gene Colan who I love because of the Dracula comics and I can't remember the title of the comic but it was published in 1988 and it has an intro by a guy called Tom Savini who says he was in Creepshow. The comic is a vampire mag.

Ain't BLOODSCENT, is it? I bet it's BLOODSCENT.

Colan was great, but the wrong inker could mess his art up something fierce. Tom Palmer? Yes. Pablo Marcos or, ugh, Vinnie Colleta? Hell no.

At the moment, Dandelion Wine by Mr. Bradbury...the quintessential summertime book! Lost track of how many times I've re-read it, but it never gets old.

After that, Bombs Away by Harry Turtledove...I've read and enjoyed his short fiction over the years, this will be my first novel of his. I work in the local library and am watching closely for The Outsider to come in so I can get on the list for it.
