Sorry, Dana; I didn't realize she was married! But flirting pretty shamelessly with me, just sayin.
Come join in the fun! @Dana Jean is the handy one, and I'm pretty good at keeping the husband content, you can help homeschool the kiddies! I've just about had it with public schools. The Ogre won't know what to do with himself.

Just finished Going Postal by Terry Pratchett and now 'bout fifty pages into Red Planet by Robert Heinlein.

So this is my first post in quite a long time...Messageboard got a facelift when I was gone, huh?
Hi Sam... glad you are back. Yes, it has been a few months. Some of the items have changed due to software glitches. PM's are now conversations and there are no poetry or story writing sections. But some of the people have found their way back..glad you are here.

Not if you paid me. One husband was hard enough to break in--who'd want to do that more than once?! :)
Poligamy (multiple wives) not polyandry (multiple husbands). Both are interesting concepts though. Guess I am Weird. Have always thought it isunrealistic for one person to 'complete' another and fulfill his or her needs. I would think the communal living would meet many unmet needs and increase love overall. Of course, with additional people would be additional drama... so hmmm... will be thinking about this today8).

Same idea :) I wouldn't do it either way, but I know people who do, and it works for them. Live and let live, right (as long as everyone is an unimpaired adult & able to consent, anyway)?

Cell (again) can't decide whether to read Salems lot or the tommyknockers. Finished robert harris an officer and spy, good story good characters, kind of historical fact with some fiction thrown in. i am on a SK buzz at this point in time
I'm gonna say Salem's Lot! I've been wanting to re read that one lately, since it's been years for me. I need to keep catching up on what stories I missed out on but those old school classic novels are eyeing me while I sleep at night!!!

I have just one story left in my Just After Sunset reread, I have really enjoyed visiting the stories again.

Also started Life After Life in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep, and am liking it so far!
I really enjoyed Life After Life. It's such an emotional ride. The lump in your throat is suddenly coughed up when you laugh out loud.

I'm reading The Lost World by Michael Crichton. He seems like he was great author.

This is probably my favorite book by Crichton (it's nothing like the movie, thankfully). I like it even better than Jurassic Park.

I lost my copy of it a decade ago, and then one day, at a used bookstore (which sadly no longer exists), I found a first-edition hardcover, same as I'd owned as a kid. In the front and back covers it has a map of the island, and small pictures of all the dinosaurs with their lengths listed.
